About the Event

Data Storytelling is the concept of building a compelling narrative based on insightful analytics that help tell your story, influence and inform a particular audience, and move them into action. Data storytelling is changing how we consume information.

Volunteer Leaders can use Data Storytelling to help influence and shape their narrative and showcase the real impact their program are creating, be it to the community they serve, their volunteers, or Organizational Leaders. Turn your insights into stories that make your audience want to learn more.

In this session, you will learn:

  • What is Data Storytelling and the three fundamentals needed to create compelling stories
  • The creation of a data story
  • Resources available to use to create data stories
