  • professional development opportunities

  • regular communication about HAV news

  • a copy of the current Association By-Laws

  • notice of the Annual General Meeting and special General Meetings

 

*Some activities sponsored by HAV are subject to fees, which are offered at a discounted rate to members

Membership Options

General Membership

 

A general member is any person employed or interested in a position responsible for the management/administration of volunteers.

Fee for 2024-2025
$50.00

Earlybird rate

$40.00 if paid by Friday,June 14, 2024

Associate Membership

An associate member is any person seeking employment in or retired from the field, or currently enrolled in a course related to the profession of Volunteer Administration or related subjects.

$25.00

Are memberships transferable?

 

Memberships paid by individuals follow them if they change their place of employment. Please contact us if a change of employment occurs so that we can update your contact information.

Memberships paid by an organization are transferable to another staff member only if the original staff member leaves the organization or leaves their role at the current organization.

 

Memberships paid by an organization are not intended to be transferable between staff at an organization for ongoing purposes throughout the year. If more than one staff member at an organization is interested in joining HAV, each of them requires their own membership.
